The award-winning Petersham Nurseries Café, renowned for its perfect romantic blooms, is hosting a special event on the evening of Valentine's Day.

It will be welcoming guests to its magical greenhouse restaurant on Tuesday, February 14, for a specially curated six course Valentine's Day dinner.

Priced at £135 per person, guests will be greeted with a Rhubarb Bellini, followed by a menu featuring seasonal produce from the kitchen gardens and family farm.

British seasonal bouquets can also be arranged in advance to be presented at your table.

The venue, which is a favourite for celebrities, locals and well-known figures from the society pages, has received a Green Michelin Star for two consecutive years.

Its ethos involves supporting organic farming, maintaining quality and chemical-free ways of growing in its kitchen garden and at a family farm in Devon, where much of the produce comes from.

Its menus are based on a slow food ethos, sticking firmly to seasonal vegetables and fruits, with as few food miles as possible.

The Valentine's Day offering includes a selection of starters such as Gnocchi alla Romana, wonderful salads and soups, while the mains include Lamb Saddle, Trout and many more, including vegetarian dishes.

Sumptuous dessert ranges from Mulled Wine Poached Pears to a Blood Orange Pudding, while there are also cheeses to share.

The event will also be raising funds for Ukraine through discretionary donations.
