The popular annual event invites residents to enjoy their favourite blockbuster hits, cult classics and family favourites with the River Thames and Teddington Lock as a stunning backdrop.

This year will see the riverside resort run four films across the 14th, 15th and 16th July.

Oscar-winning Encanto kicks things off on Friday at 5.30pm, with families able to revisit the wonderful tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a magical house in a vibrant and charmed town.

The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift from super strength to the power to heal-every child except one, Mirabel. But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family's last hope.

Later in the evening (8pm), music lovers will be treated to a screening of Elvis, which follows the story of infamous rock 'n' roll star Elvis Presley seen through the eyes of his controversial manager Colonel Tom Parker. The film explores Elvis Presley's highs and lows and the many challenges and controversies he received throughout his career.

Top Gun enthusiasts are then in for a treat the following day as Tom Cruise and co return. After thirty years, Maverick is still pushing the envelope as a top naval aviator, but must confront ghosts of his past when he leads TOP GUN's elite graduates on a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those chosen to fly it.

Matilda the Musical then concludes Movies by Moonlight in style on Sunday evening. An adaptation of the Tony and Olivier award-winning musical. Matilda tells the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a sharp mind and a vivid imagination, dares to take a stand to change her story with miraculous results.

Food, drinks and snacks (including the obligatory popcorn!) will be provided and audiences are encouraged to bring their own blankets and extra layers for the drop in temperature later into the evening.
