Petersham Nurseries Cafe is looking to recruit across a number of positions for the festive season and beyond, including waiting staff and Chef De Partie.

Training will be provided for waiting staff, who must have a friendly and warm personality; an ability to learn and demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the menu and wine.

Importantly, the role will include regular evenings and weekends. Staff enjoy competitive pay and meals when on duty.

The casual yet sophisticated restaurant is set within a giant glasshouses with additional outside seating. It is popular with both locals as well as many famous faces from the arts and politics.

The restaurant is also looking for a Chef de Partie, preferably with some experience of creating simple Italian classics. Someone who would be comfortable creating current dishes, which include Roasted Haye Farm Pork with Grilled Datterini, Fine Beans & Nduja; Chargrilled Beef with Caponata di Melanzane & Mojo Verde; or Roasted Chicken with Girolles, Pancetta, Kale & Orange Gremolata.

The role of includes learning set recipes and ensuring all menu items are made to specification, meeting our high standard of quality and presentation. The successful applicant will also assisting with kitchen administration.

It offers a salary of £28,000 a year plus benefits, which include 28 days holiday allowance.
