Job of the week – Orange Tree Theatre needs Front of House staff

The theatre is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its team of Ushers and Box Office staff.

Applicants should have a keen interest in the arts and, in particular, the Orange Tree.

You must be a willing to work evenings and weekends as well as being a good communicator and an enthusiastic team worker, with excellent personal skills.

Individual shifts are approximately four hours and typically staff will work four shifts per week.

You must be able to work well under pressure and feel comfortable working an iPad payment and portable booking system.

The Box Office staff are the face of the theatre on a day-to-day basis. They must be confident speaking to the public, booking tickets and handling any complaints or issues that might arise.

The Usher salary is £8.91 per hour (three hours minimum) plus holiday pay. The figure for the Box Office is £9.27 per hour (three hours minimum) plus holiday pay.

Benefits include two complementary tickets to all OT shows, to be used before the final; training opportunities; option to join workplace pension scheme; discount in the OT Bar.
