Isleworth teacher takes on 'nerve-wracking' fundraiser for children

A local primary school teacher is set to reach daring heights to fundraise for more provisions for children.
Miss Gynn from Worple Primary School in Isleworth will take on a zip wire challenge to raise money for the school's local charity Friends of Worple.
The charity is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience and wellbeing of every child at the school.
Through fundraising and community events, the school's parents-teacher association (PTA) helps fund a wide range of initiatives that would not otherwise be possible, including half the cost of Forest School provision for all year groups, the school's Oracy 21 programme which helps children develop confidence and articulate their thoughts clearly, and healthy snacks for KS2 pupils, where government funding is not available.
Miss Gynn said: "I'm taking on the exciting (and slightly nerve-wracking!) challenge of zip wiring across Twickenham Stadium to raise funds for our amazing school PTA.
"Every day, I see first-hand how much our children benefit from the extra resources, fun activities, and school improvements that the PTA works tirelessly to fund. I wanted to do my bit to support their hard work, and what better way than soaring high above Twickenham Stadium!
"Any support or donation you can give will directly help make our school an even brighter place for our pupils to learn and grow. Thank you so much for your support!"
The 25-year-old teacher hopes the feat will not only provide essential funds for the children at Worlple, but that can "see it is good to try new things and step out of your comfort zone".
