Richmond Gymnastics Association (RGA) hosted its annual Christmas show with spectators calling it the 'best ever'.

The theme of this year's show was 'Myths & Legends' which saw RGA put on performances from Tuesday, 10 December to Saturday, 14 December.

RGA's Christmas display showcases all of its squads and invitational groups from the very youngest through to its Team GB Acrobats.

Just over an hour long, 'Myths & Legends' featured performances based around Greek figures such as Medusa and Icarus.

Behind the extravagant choreography from the Christmas show was RGA's Choreographer Robert Tregoning.

On Instagram RGA said: "What an incredible week it's been. Apparently our best Christmas Display ever!! Thank you for all your amazing messages of support, we're glad you enjoyed our show.

"Congratulations to all our incredible gymnasts that took part - you're all amazing & we're so proud of you all. Shout out & thanks to all our fabulous coaches, staff, Robert for the awesome choreography, volunteers, reps & parents that have helped.

"We couldn't do it without any of you. 6 shows in 5 days takes a team & we're very grateful you're all part of our community. Merry Christmas form everyone at RGA."
