Men's hairdressers, Bunkers in Sheen Lane, East Sheen has announced its imminent closure today (25 October) after trading for nearly 40 years.

Bunkers owners, Donny and Becky, explain: "It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce that Bunkers will finally be closing on Saturday, 14th December 2024, after 37 years.

"When we tried to renew the lease last year, the landlord served notice that he wanted the premises back for his own use (another coffee shop!).

"We fought this, but have had to concede that the property will now revert to him on 24th December 2024.

"With so many very loyal and highly valued clients, with whom we have enjoyed building longstanding relationships, this is a bitter pill to swallow.

"We hope to see you soon, when we will be able to thank you personally for your support over so many years.

"Becky and I will let you know how each of us may be able to continue providing you with the service that you have come to expect, going forwards."
