Families are invited to take part in an Easter egg hunt through Richmond's picturesque streets through this week's holiday half-term break.

The Easter bunny has hidden nine of his friends in the windows of various businesses in Richmond, and it's up to you to find them all.

To participate, simply download the map from the Be Richmond website or pick one up from participating stores in central Richmond, the Museum of Richmond, Richmond Library, or the Visit Richmond kiosk in Richmond station.

The Easter bunny himself will even be hopping around the trail on Good Friday, April 7, handing out maps.

Be Richmond, the organisation representing town centre businesses, said: "As you make your way through the trail, keep your eyes peeled for the hidden bunnies. Each bunny will have a letter that you can collect to spell out a secret nine-letter word.

"Once you've worked out the word, head over to 144 On the Hill Restaurant or Venchi to claim your chocolatey surprise.

"But that's not all! By leaving your details online, you'll also enter a prize draw for an Easter bundle. And for those who work up an appetite on the hunt, 144 On the Hill is offering 20% off food for all participants."

The manager at Be Richmond, Ellen Amorina Storrar, said: "We are thrilled to be hosting this exciting Easter event in Richmond.

"We can't wait to see families come together to explore the town and all that the high street has to offer here."
