A soon-to-open shop in East Sheen, Richmond will provide gluten-free, plant-based and organic products to residents.

Part-owner of Nature's Perk, Naman Munir, believes there is an appetite for the products and has met with positive responses from the local community.

"I have 15 years of experience working at a co-operative store and as a manager at Tesco and have realised that there is a growing market for gluten-free and organic products," explains Munir.

He tells Richmond Nub News, he wants to "bring everything into one place", where customers will have a range of healthy products to choose from.

Additionally, the shop will have a grab-and-go counter that will provide coffee, milkshakes and fresh juices.

Munir says that 70-80% of the products will be organic with the remaining offering alternative choices to customers.

There is no date yet, but Nature's Perk promises to open in two weeks time in East Sheen, Richmond (credit: Oliver Monk).

Though Munir has not yet set up a marketing platform, the shop has received positive organic feedback.

"Since we put the sign outside, people, especially the younger generation, have expressed their excitement for fresh juices and milkshakes.

"We have also had a positive response from people with families who are conscious about their families' diet," he adds.

The shop is on 8 Grand Parade, Upper Richmond Road West, East Sheen and is due to open in two weeks time.
