Budding photographer Kate Bertaut was high up on Richmond Hill when the perfect shot came into focus.

She saw a couple down on Terrace Gardens who had just tied the knot and they posed for a snap.

Kate, from Ham, left her number with a friend of theirs but has been unable to make contact with the new husband and wife since the encounter.

Kate told Richmond Nub News: "I would love to trace a stunning couple whose post-wedding photos I took by chance with my Nikon camera on Richmond Hill Terrace on October 31 – a sunny Saturday.

"I am part of a photo workshop group and started with the wonderful photo courses at the Landmark Centre in Teddington – now these are online.

"I was at the top of the hill photographing 'chance encounters' for an assignment, and this was one I was not expecting!

"Their friend took my mobile number but it must have got written down wrong as I haven't heard from them and they were keen to see the photos.

"I asked the Petersham Hotel but the wedding wasn't there, and the Richmond Hill wedding department is closed.

"I have more photos which I would love the couple to have as high-res."

Editor's note: If you know the husband and wife, please email [email protected] and I'll put you in touch with Kate. Thanks!
