Healthwatch Richmond is looking to recruit a team of volunteers to support their work and speak up for better healthcare in the community.

Volunteers will help conduct research looking at healthcare providers, such as hospitals and care homes.

They will contribute to projects which will improve health and social care in the borough.

Being a Healthwatch volunteer is 'the perfect opportunity for anyone who wants to make a genuine difference to their community' say the council.

Richmond Council says whether you have previously worked within health and social care, keen to gain experience, or are passionate about health, then this role is for you.

Healthwatch ensure NHS leaders and other decision makers listen to community feedback and improve standards of health care in the UK.

Last year, Healthwatch received nearly 400,000 experiences of health and social care.

For more information and how to apply, visit the Healthwatch website.
