A Richmond opera company is opening its new season with a one-off Grand Opera Gala performance at Richmond Theatre on Saturday 25 September.

Instant Opera is celebrating its long-awaited return to the stage following lockdown, and the show features many local performance artists.

The gala will feature much-loved arias ensembles and grand choruses by Mozart, Verdi, Bizert, Tchalkovsky, Donizetti, Gilbert & Sullivan and many more.

"Superb" local performance artists include international soloists, The Instant Opera Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by Oliver Till with Daniel Wain as the MC for the evening.

The show starts at 7:30pm at the theatre situated at 1 Little Green, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year!

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, August 12 and cost £21.99 or £19.99 for concessions.
