Get to know your local police officers at ‘Met in the Park’

By The Editor 23rd Aug 2022

Get to know your local police officers – as well as the horses and dogs they rely on for crime fighting and keeping the peace.

A 'Met in Park' community event is being held at Old Deer park tomorrow – Wednesday – between 10am and 4pm.

The gathering is being promoted as a chance to meet local officers, try some police equipment, including a look at their cars and motorbikes, and hear how the police in the borough work.

The event promises fun and entertainment, bands, stalls and participation from St Johns Ambulance crews and local rugby clubs.
