In honour of International Women's Day, Gaucho Richmond is delighted to present an exclusive all female produced wine list available throughout March.

The restaurant say the curated selection features eight 'exceptional' wines crafted by female winemakers or sourced from female-owned wineries.

For each bottle sold, Gaucho will donate £5.00 to Women's Aid, the national charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse against women and children.

Domestic abuse is a devastating reality for many, with one in four women over the age of 16 (27%) experiencing abuse in their lifetime.

By partnering with Women's Aid, Gaucho is helping to fund life-saving support for women and their children and create a future free from abuse.

Marina Diaz, Head Sommelier at Gaucho, said: "Women have played a huge role in shaping the wine industry, yet their contributions are often overlooked.

"We wanted to create a menu that not only highlights their incredible talent but also gives back to a cause that directly supports women in need. Every bottle on this list tells a story of dedication, expertise, and passion, making us very proud to support Women's Aid in their vital work."

Faye Connelly, Head of Fundraising at Women's Aid, added: "At Women's Aid, we know that real change happens when people come together to take action, and we are incredibly grateful to Gaucho for their support.

"Not only does this initiative shine a spotlight on the achievements of women in the wine industry, but it also raises vital funds to help survivors of domestic abuse access the support they need.

"Partnerships like this help ensure we can continue our work in protecting women and children from harm and driving forward the movement to end domestic abuse for good."
