Richmond Theatre has announced further casting for their pantomime that is taking place this Christmas.

The performance of Dick Whittington will take place at Richmond Theatre from 9 December 2023 to 7 January 2024.

Comedian Paul Merton, who is a BAFTA-winning writer, actor, comedian, and radio and television presenter who is currently a team captain on BBC's Have I Got News For You will star as Sarah the Cook.

Merton will be joined by Suki Webster, who will be playing Suki the Sweet Maker.

Suki, who will be making her pantomime debut, has most recently starred in two series of Motorhoming with Merton and Webster on Channel 5 and is one of the top comedy improvisers in the UK.

Wendy Mae Brown, who will play Spirit of the Bells, is a musical theatre performer who recently played Becky in the UK tour of Waitress.

Vivien Parry, who will play Queen Rat, was most recently seen as Fraulein Schnieder in the multi-Olivier Award-winning production of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club and has other West End credentials, such as playing Donna in Mamma Mia!
