Local Met Police officers have arrested four men after busting a cannabis factory with approximately 1,500 plants in Richmond.

Richmond Local Safer Neighbourhood Team last week attended an address in Hampton Hill, Richmond where they uncovered a weed farm.

Officers say they arrested four men with Production of a Controlled Class B.

In the UK, the maximum penalties for drug possession, supply (selling, dealing or sharing) and production for Class B is up to 14 years in prison, an unlimited fine or both.

Officers estimate around 1,500 weed plants were seized (credit: @MPSRichmond/X).

The bust comes as local officers recently arrested a male for serious assault on Manor Road, whereby another man was stabbed with a bottle.
