Foundry Richmond has once again been nominated for 'Best Fitness Facility in London' at the London Lifestyle Awards, marking the second year in a row it has been recognised among the capital's finest.

Last year, Foundry claimed the title of 'Best Gym in London', earning the support of over 210,000 Londoners who voted for its standout approach to fitness and community.

The latest nomination highlights the 'relentless' dedication of Foundry's team in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for people of all fitness levels.

Foundry Richmond led by Henari Veratau, a recently retired professional rugby player; and Ben Gotting, Co-Founder of Foundry and a former professional rugby player.

The gym say both bring their 'extensive' sports backgrounds to the gym, helping to shape Foundry Richmond into one of the city's most respected fitness destinations.

Foundry is in good company for this year's competition, including industry heavyweights such as 1Rebel, Barry's Bootcamp, Equinox, Gym Box, KX, and Third Space. To be among other large fitness companies is a "testament to its success", believes the independent gym brand.

Foundry Richmond Member Ben says: "I've been coming to Foundry Richmond since October last year and have had an outstanding experience.

"The team and other members are amazingly friendly and the classes and small group PT are second to none. I would highly recommend."

Foundry Richmond Member Tara adds: "10 weeks in and feeling the fittest I have been. Outstanding personal trainers who push you to your best with personalised coaching.

"Left my commercial gym due to boredom—no chance of that here. A great 3-week trial meant I could try it out before signing up for a membership—great members too. Best decision."

Founded in 2015 by Ben Gotting, Foundry was built on the belief that everyone, no matter their level of experience, should feel they belong in the gym.

With a vision to create a space that feels more like an old-school sports club than a typical fitness centre, Foundry focuses on cultivating a supportive environment where members are more than just faces in the crowd.

At Foundry Richmond, this ethos is reflected in every aspect of the gym. The facility features natural lighting and is equipped with "top-of-the-line" functional training gear from brands like Eleiko UK.

Rather than the intimidating rows of cardio machines found in most gyms, Foundry explains it prioritises in personalised training experiences, from small group personal training to group classes.

Every session is designed to help members feel stronger, fitter, and part of a close-knit community.

Foundry Richmond is part of a wider network of Foundry gyms across London, including locations in North Kensington, Bank, Vauxhall, Old Street, Aldgate, and Crowborough.

A Foundry membership grants access to small group personal training and group classes at any of its seven sites, offering members flexibility and consistency wherever they choose to train.

As Foundry celebrates its nomination for 'Best Fitness Facility in London', it looks to the public for support in securing the award for the second year running.

Voting is open to all, and Foundry encourages its members and supporters to help them claim the title once again.
