River levels at Tidal Thames Riverside from Putney Bridge to Teddington Weir are expected to be high today (Monday, 18 May) as a result of spring tides, according to the Environment Agency (EA).

The EA says the next high tide at this stretch of the river will commence at 4.45pm on Monday and may result in brief low-level flooding of riverside roads and open spaces.

It added: "Astronomical tide levels are rising. The river flow at Teddington Weir is 20 cubic metres per second and is steady. We anticipate the flows to remain low for the next five days."
