Emergency roadworks begin on Clifford Avenue as Cadent Gas responds to leak

Richmond Council reveal that emergency gas works could cause disruption to traffic in Clifford Avenue, North Sheen.

Cadent Gas is currently carrying out urgent repairs to a gas leak in the carriageway between Kingsway and St Leonard’s Road.

Temporary two-way traffic lights have been installed to manage the flow of vehicles while the works are ongoing.

Clifford Avenue forms part of the Transport for London Road Network, and no completion date has yet been confirmed by Cadent Gas.
