East Sheen is getting ready for its annual Christmas Gathering on Friday 21 November, marking the start of the festive season.

The celebrations begin at 4pm at Milestone Green, bringing families together for an evening of Christmas cheer.

The event will feature carols, children's activities, and late-night shopping as local businesses open their doors for the occasion.

Highlights include:

  • Father Christmas visit – Santa will be greeting children at James Anderson East Sheen.
  • Festive crafts and face painting – Creative fun led by Sheen Artists and The Bloom Florists.
  • Carols and live music – Local choirs and musicians will perform throughout the evening.
  • Late-night shopping – Independent shops, cafés and restaurants across East Sheen will offer seasonal gifts and festive treats.
  • Festive displays – Over 50 real Christmas trees and illuminated shop windows will line the streets.

Organised by East Sheen Village, the Christmas Gathering is supported by local groups and businesses including The Bloom, James Anderson East Sheen, The Hare & Hounds, and Sheen Artists.
