A 45-year-old man has been charged with cycling without due care and attention in Richmond Park following a collision.
The incident saw him collide with two other cyclists, who both needed hospital treatment.
Richard Springer, who has a Surrey address, is due to appear at Lavender Hill magistrates court next month.
The Royal Parks Police said: "Mr Stringer, 45, from Surrey, has been charged with cycling without due care and attention following a collision on Broomfield Hill in Richmond Park on May 5, 2022.
"The male was cycling up Broomfield Hill when he went onto the opposite side of the carriageway, colliding with
two cyclists coming down, and narrowly missing a third cyclist. The two cyclists were hospitalised."
Broomfield Hill is a popular training route for cyclists and has been described as one of London's greatest road climbs.
Cyclists coming down the hill are typically travelling at very high speeds. There is no speed limit for cycles in Richmond Park however a 20mph limit applies to cars.
