Jenny Harris, the Co-Founder and Trustee of the bereavement charity space2grieve, has been named as one of 500 Coronation Champions.

The awards were launched by Camilla, the Queen Consort, in partnership with the Royal Voluntary Service.

They are designed to celebrate extraordinary volunteers who go the extra mile to improve the lives of others.

The group, space2grieve, offers specialist support to children and young people including in person 'Parenting Through Grief' sessions for parents.

Jenny, who spent many years of volunteering in the bereavement sector, has worked tirelessly to set up space2grieve, a local charity, which provides free support to all Richmond residents who have been bereaved, 'no matter when, no matter how'.

Support is in the form of one-to-one sessions at the ETNA Community Centre, or face-to-face in school, or at home remotely on the phone or via zoom.

The group, space2grieve, offers specialist support to children and young people including in person 'Parenting Through Grief' sessions for parents.

It also hosts the compassionate cuppa, a free drop-in grief café every 3rd Tuesday of the month at ETNA Community Centre, providing peer support and connection for bereaved residents across the borough.
