Garden Waste:

Garden waste collections, including bookable sack collections, will be suspended from Monday 8 to Friday 19 January 2024.

Collections will be back to normal the week commencing Monday 22 January.

Bulky Waste:

Bulky waste collections will continue as normal except for bank holidays and weekends.

Missed Collections:

Our collection crews may be later than normal after Christmas due to a heavy workload. In the event of a missed collection, you can report it online.

Christmas Tree Recycling:

Christmas tree collections will be between Monday 8 January and Friday 19 January 2024. Collections will take place on your normal garden waste collection day, but you do not need a paid garden waste contract for this.

You can also take Christmas trees to these designated sites for recycling.

Find out more about Christmas tree recycling.

2024 Collections:

For other scheduled bank holidays in 2024, there will be no changes to waste and recycling collections dates – everything will be collected on your normal day.

This includes Good Friday, Easter Monday, early May bank holiday, end of May spring bank holiday and the August summer bank holiday.
