Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?
After such a turbulent year it would be fitting if we could enjoy a perfect Christmas Day.
The last time the country has seen a truly white Christmas with snow settling on the ground was 2010.
This was an "extremely unsusual" year, the Met Office says.
In fact, snowfall is more probable between January and March than December.

Richmond forecast
The first weather forecasts for Christmas Day 2020 in Richmond have been made.
And it looks unlikely that we are going to get any snow! ï¸
The sun may poke his head out and there is a chance of light rain showers, with temperatures climbing to 7C by noon.
It will drop to 2C during the night.
A relic of Christmasses past?
Romantic notions of a white Christmas are rooted in the past for a reason.
The Met Office said: "The Dickensian scene of widespread snow lying on the ground on Christmas Day is much rarer.
"White Christmases were more frequent in the 18th and 19th centuries, even more so before the change of calendar in 1752 which effectively brought Christmas Day back by 12 days.
"Climate change has also brought higher average temperatures over land and sea and this generally reduced the chances of a white Christmas."
There has been a widespread covering of snow on the ground just four times since 1960 - in 1981,1995, 2009 and 2010.
