The organisers of Richmond's free town centre festival, Centre Stage, want to hear from residents on how to make it better.

Run in collaboration between Richmond Council, Be Richmond and the Orange Tree Theatre, Centre Stage has just completed its second iteration of the event.

The short survey asks attendees which aspects they enjoyed, what areas could be improved, and their long-term thoughts on road and public space use.

According to the council, last year's one-day event saw footfall increase by around 30%, while retailers, pubs and restaurants reported increases in trade of between 30% and 45%.

However, one group has already criticised the cycling arrangements during the weekend, saying poor signage and a lack of temporary cycle parking caused problems.

Centre Stage is a free multi-arts festival that claims the streets of Richmond as a playground for creativity, community and contemporary culture.
