Now in it's 7th year, Cocoon Christmas Day (formerly Richmond Christmas Dinner) will be hosting a Christmas Day event for 50 care leavers (and 10 of their young children). Without this event, they would be spending the day alone as they do not have family they can spend the day with. Young adults who have grown up in care can be very isolated, and this is magnified at Christmas which is so much about family and togetherness. The guest list is full, and there are 25 volunteers hosting the day. Now they need to make sure they have enough presents to fill the present sacks and funds to pay for all the essentials!

Make a donation

Between 28th November to 5th December any donations made through Big Give will be DOUBLED by match funding Cocoon Christmas Day for Care Leavers (biggive.org)

Outside of that week, donations can be made to the Justgiving Page Cocoon Christmas Day 2023 - JustGiving
