Boy 10 rushed to hospital

A 10-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after he was hit by a car at a junction on a road running from the top of Richmond Hill.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Monday and emergency services were called to reports that a car had collided with a youngster.

The accident happened at the junction between Queens Road and Queens Rise, which is close to St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene where they found a 10-year-old boy who was injured. He was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said the boy's injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made as a result of the incident but police enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

A police spokesperson said: "Officers were called at 5.05pm on Monday, December 5 to Queens Road, Richmond.

"A car was reported to have been in collision with a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a ten-year-old boy, was taken to hospital by LAS, his condition was not life threatening or changing."
