Richmond Council revealed on Friday, 16 August that the schedule of waste and recycling collections will remain the same following the summer bank holiday on Monday 26 August.

The council says it "will continue to collect residential waste on your usual collection day."

It advises residents that they can find out their collection day by downloading the free My Richmond app.

While Townmead Road Reuse and Recycling Centre will remain open, residents will need to book a slot in advance.

The council says: "Slots will be limited over the bank holiday weekend, so it is advised to book early."
