A person was assessed at the scene but no one suffered any injury that required hospital treatment after a collision yesterday.

The collision happened on Kew Road shortly after 6pm on Tuesday (October 6) and involved a Mini Cooper and double decker bus.

Traffic was blocked and the 65 bus route had to be diverted. Paramedics rushed to the scene.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.07pm yesterday to reports of a collision between a car and a bus in Kew Road, Richmond."

"We dispatched an ambulance crew and assessed a patient at the scene but did not take anyone to hospital."
