Richmond's special police force had a busy day alongside officers from the South Richmond team.

Specials are volunteers who have full police powers.

Yesterday (Thursday, October 14) they covered 14,000m in patrols across Richmond and St Margarets and supported paramedics in responding to an incident.

South Richmond Police tweeted: "Thanks @MPSSpecials â¤ï¸.

"We were joined today by SPC (special police constable) Wapshott with our patrols.

"Today we assisted London Ambulance Service with a medical emergency & managed to patrol 14k on our ward."
