'Horrible' knife seized as three men held in Richmond town centre

Police arrested three men in Richmond town centre last night and recovered a knife which they described as "horrible".

Richmond Police announced the news on social media in a tweet posted from Kingston Police Station.

The arrests were made by officers from its emergency response team (ERTA) using stop and search powers.

The force tweeted: "#ERTA officers #arrested 3 males in #RichmondTownCentre overnight for #drugs & possession of this horrible #knife, following 3 x #stopandsearch.

"Thanks to the members of the public who called us.

"Your calls really do make a difference, so please keep the information coming!"
