Tens of thousands of people are being sought to administer coronavirus vaccines across the country.

Richmond residents can now register their interest in joining the Covid-19 Vaccine Team. "Your contribution will be vital in fighting the pandemic in your community," the billing reads.

The job title is Covid-19 Vaccination Programme Vaccinator and it pays £11.20 an hour.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over. No previous medical experience is needed but people with clinical, care or first aid experience will be prioritised in the first wave of applications.

All vaccinators will receive training and their role will primarily be administering the jab into a person's shoulder muscle.

There are positions available in two related roles in immunisation: for a registered health care professional and clinical supervisors, paying at least £12.74 and £16.04 an hour respectively.

All roles will last between 3-6 months.

Recruitment is being led by NHS Professionals, a government wing that supplies temporary workers for the National Health Service.
