Richmond town centre burst back to life today as the national lockdown was lifted.

Clothes stores, jewellers, barbers and hairdressers, beauty salons and charity shops reopened.

So did pubs, bars and restaurants - and they can remain open until the later time of 11pm.

Cafes and coffee shops which could only operate a takeaway or delivery services in the four-week national lockdown have reinstated their indoor seating and customers were able to call into their favourite places for a bite to eat and a drink.

Are you pleased to see the return of the high street? Which business have you missed the most?
