This footage of a stag with an inner tube wrapped around its antlers highlights the problem with littering in Richmond Park.

The Royal Parks charity this week released figures revealing a 644% rise in littering in the park as it announced a new campaign to tackle the issue.

Richmond had the biggest growing problem with waste out of all eight of London's Royal parks.

By contrast, there was a 23 tonne decrease in St James's Park and Green Park amid a decrease in visitors. Regent's Park saw a minor fall in littering levels.

But in Bushy Park, seven tonnes of rubbish was collected in June 2019. This rose to 20 tonnes last month.

Greenwich Park also saw a sharp increase over the same period, from 10 to 36 tonnes.
