By The Editor 13th Aug 2020

Three more cases of coronavirus among Richmond residents have been recorded in a single day once again.

Three people tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday, August 8.

Latest official figures show the same number tested positive on Monday, August 10.

Before this, there had not been three positive results in the town in one day for a number of weeks.

Other nearby areas have far higher infection rates. Wandsworth's is 382.5, only just below the London average of 407.7 per 100,000 people.

Wandsworth has recorded a large number of cases recently - recording nine new cases on both August 3 and 5.
