RICHMOND Foodbank has launched an urgent appeal for food donations.

These donations are absolutely vital for everyone referred to the foodbank's service.

Providing those in need with a balanced and nutritious three-day supply of food can make all the difference.

100% of food distributed by the foodbank is donated by the public, including shops, business, churches, schools and individuals.

Therefore, it is incredibly important that we continue to support our community's most vulnerable.

Richmond Foodbank has experienced a huge increase in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic, distributing around 8,000kgs of shelf-stable food each month alongside the fresh surplus it receives from local retail outlets.
