Update 2.30pm:

Nub News has learned that Mr Kruger's case has been postponed again for two weeks and will be held in private.

We will bring you updates from the hearing as soon as we have them.

A Conservative MP is due at Westminster Magistrates Court this afternoon after allowing his Jack Russell to chase deer in Richmond Park.

Danny Kruger, 46, is the MP for Devizes, Wiltshire, and is due in court this afternoon.

It is currently against the law to allow dogs off their leads in the Royal Parks

According to the police Kruger's Jack Russell dog was seen to chase a herd of fallow deer, causing them to stampede around a large crowd of people including children.

The incident happened in Richmond Park on March 20, shortly before rules came into place forcing all dog owners to keep their dogs on leads for the duration of the deer birthing season.

Kruger was due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court earlier this month but the case was adjourned in his absence.
