Many of the top names in children's literature are to appear at London's largest dedicated children's literature festival this weekend.

The Barnes Children's Literature Festival returns with in-person events this weekend, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27.

The amazing lineup features UK number one bestselling children's authors Julia Donaldson and Sir Michael Morpurgo alongside former UK Children's Laureates Dame Jacqueline Wilson and Lauren Child.

It also features the likes of young environmentalist and anti-racism activist Mya-Rose Craig, also known as Birdgirl.

Craig will lead walks around the London Wetlands Centre where she will talk about her new book We Have a Dream and do some birdspotting along the way.
