A fun sunset 5k event is being held at Old Deer Park this September with a Caribbean theme to ease you through those kilometers and a rum-fuelled afterparty.

The Visit Cayman Islands Sundown 5k is part of Richmond Run Fest, in partnership with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.

They say: "Bringing you the Caribbean vibe direct from the Cayman Islands, expect live music, themes course entertainment, Caribbean food and of course a rum bar!"

The run is to be held on Saturday September 11 starting at 7pm towards the back of Old Deer Park.

Watch the sun go down as you complete the flat course, with entertainment to keep you going every 500 meters along the way.

The race is followed by a Caribbean afterparty with Caribbean-themed music from Cayman Islands, the Richmond Food & Fitness Expo, and a Rum Bar!
