Earlier this week we heard that TfL are dependent upon funding from the Department for Transport to repair Hammersmith Bridge.

Now Richmond Park MP Sarah Olney is asking residents to share their views and experiences of life since the bridge has been closed to traffic.

She hopes that the results of her survey will show the impact the bridge's closure has had on Richmond residents and strengthen the case for the funding to be made available.

Sarah said: "The repair of Hammersmith Bridge is an important issue for many of my constituents.

"Up until its closure last year, it was a main connection between the north and south sides of the Thames and was used for tens of thousands of journeys every day.

"I will do everything in my power to press the Government to provide this funding but to do this, I need the help of local residents.

"I want to hear about their experiences since the bridge has been closed and what they'd like the future of the historic and iconic Hammersmith Bridge to be."
