What's the weather going to be like on Christmas Day?

It's that all-important question which could be the difference between a lovely family walk in Richmond Park or being cooped up all day with too much to eat and copious films to watch (this doesn't sound too bad actually...).

Far from a typical winter's day, the sun is set to shine this Christmas Day in Richmond.

But while we've enjoyed temperatures of up to 13C recently, it will be much colder come Friday, December 25 - with highs of 4C.

Curiously, it will be warmer overnight and into Boxing Day, at 6C.

It doesn't look like we're going to get the White Christmas many will have been hoping for!

But with temperatures at -1 on Christmas Eve, there may well be a frosty start.

Boxing Day weather

It will be a warmer day on Saturday, December 26, with thick clouds and a breeze.

Expect temperatures of around 7C at night and 9C in the day.

Have a great Christmas everyone.
