Don't give up your personal space at car parking machines, police said

Fraudsters are operating in car parks across Richmond.

The police told people not to "give up your personal space" at payment machines.

The warning was shared by Richmond Police on Friday, September 18.

"We have had number of scams in Teddington and Richmond borough regarding using credit/debit card payment at parking machines," the force said.

"Please be careful.

"If approached by stranger, DO NOT give up your personal space. Stay alert at all times."
