A car park in Richmond Park will be closed for a full day next week.

Royal Parks said: "Due to filming Broomfield Hill car park will be partially closed between Wednesday, March 10 and March 17, with full closure on Monday, March 15."

"Apologies for any inconvenience caused," they added.

It seems the filming is for a new Marvel movie.

Local resident Tim Pemberton said: "Took daughter on an adventure night ride. Refused entry to Richmond Park at Richmond gate as security on the gate said Marvel were filming in the park tonight!"

Upgrades to toilets

A schedule of refurbishments to toilet blocks is also taking place.

  • Richmond Gate toilets are currently closed for refurbishment, with plans to reopen by Monday, March 15
  • Kingston Gate toilets will close for refurbishment on Monday, March 15, with plans to reopen by Monday, March 29
  • Robin Hood Gate toilets will close for refurbishment on Monday 29th March, with plans to reopen by Monday, April 12
