'Please don't park on the grass': drivers seek spaces in busy Royal Parks

By The Editor 22nd Nov 2020

Drivers are parking on the grass in Richmond's Royal Parks after finding all the car parks full.

Royal Parks Police posted photos on social media this afternoon (Sunday, November 22) of cars which had been parked on the grass despite signs telling motorists not to.

The force said fines will be issued to any drivers caught doing so.

Parks police wrote on Twitter: "#RichmondPark and #Bushypark car parks are full.

"Please don't park on the grass or verges, fixed penalty notices will be issued."
