Retail Sales Associate (Full-Time)

London Atelier Byproduct is an independent womenswear and homeware brand, opened its first store, in Richmond, this November. Our space brings together thoughtfully designed clothing, homeware, and in-house atelier, in a small and creative retail environment.

We're looking for a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our small team and help bring the London Atelier Byproduct experience to life in store. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys meaningful customer interaction, beautiful objects, and being part of a growing independent brand.

The Role

• Welcome and assist customers, offering a warm, personal, and knowledgeable shopping experience

• Support the day-to-day running of the store, including sales, restocking, packaging, steaming, pricing, and maintaining displays

• Ensure the space remains organised, calm, and reflective of the London Atelier Byproduct aesthetic

• Assist with inventory management and general operational tasks

• Support marketing initiatives, online orders, and customer enquiries

• Contribute ideas and take initiative to enhance the in-store experience

• Occasionally assist with in-store events, workshops, or local collaborations

About You

• Previous experience in retail or a design-led environment (fashion, homeware, marketing, or similar) is preferred

• Warm, attentive, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people (essential)

• Strong appreciation for craftsmanship, fabric, and details (atelier experience is not mandatory)

• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently within a small creative team (essential)

• Confident with email; social media experience is a plus but not required

• Bonus points if you can sew, have an eye for styling, or feel aligned with our minimalist aesthetic

What We Offer

• Full-time position (40 hours per week), including some weekend shifts with weekdays off

• Annual salary: £25,000–£30,000, depending on experience

• 10% bonus for exceeding sales targets
