Applications Transition Analyst
Daily
An Applications Transition Analyst required to bridge the gap between project delivery and business-as-usual (BAU) support. You will be responsible for managing the seamless transition of applications into a steady-state environment while ensuring operational stability and effective knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- Transition Management: Plan and execute the handover of applications from development teams and third-party vendors into support.
- Operational Readiness: Ensure all support artefacts-such as runbooks, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and escalation matrices-are complete and validated.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary link between business users, internal IT teams, and external vendors.
- Support Stabilisation: Monitor application stability and system integrations during the stabilisation phase, providing functional leadership to support teams.
- Governance: Facilitate progress tracking calls, conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents, and manage service level agreements (SLAs/XLAs).
Skills/Requirements
- Understanding the technical nuances of application management, including transition to BAU, security, integration landscapes, and compliance.
- A strong understanding of the application ecosystem, including SaaS, API-based integrations (MuleSoft), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with CRM or Data ecosystems (eg, Salesforce Data Cloud) is highly desirable.
- While exposure to floorplan design tools (eg, ExpoCAD, AutoCAD) is a plus, we value a "love for learning" and general technical aptitude over being a niche expert in specific software.
- Deep familiarity with ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) and ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
Working Environment
This role offers a flexible hybrid working model. You will be required to be in the Richmond office two days per week (with Wednesday as the anchor day).
