One of Richmond's most famous residents given covid vaccination

Sir David Attenborough has been vaccinated against Covid-19.

The acclaimed broadcaster and Richmond resident, 94, received the first dose of the vaccination within days of The Queen.

He spoke of his support for the vaccination programme in an interview with the Telegraph.

"At 94, I think I'm entitled!"

"I'm sufficient of a scientist still, I hope, to realise this is the thing to do."

Sir David, who lives near Richmond Park, is one of the area’s most famous and cherished residents.

According to an analysis of the most searched for people on Wikipedia by town, Edward VIII is Richmond’s most Wikipedia’d person.

And Sir David registered as Isleworth’s most Wikipedia’d.
