A free minibus service will return to Richmond Park on Wednesday July 21 to help visitors access places like the beautiful Isabella Plantation more easily.

The service will run every Wednesday between July 21 and October 27 2021.

The bus is free, and will operate from 9:40am until 4:10pm.

It has disabled access with a ramp and steps, but wheelchair users are advised to contact Malcolm Childs in advance of visiting, by emailing [email protected] or calling 07814 988 337.

Face coverings must be work on the bus following last week's announcement that facemasks will remain compulsory on all London transport.

Where can I find the bus?

The minibus runs between all the Richmond Park car parks, Ladderstile Gate, Richmond Gate, Pembroke Lodge and Isabella Plantation.

It starts and finishes at the barrier in Danebury Avenue on the Roehampton Estate and also goes to Ham, Ashburnham Road (371 bus stop and Ham Common, Ham Gate Avenue (near to 65 bus stop). The route will vary from previous years, due to road closures within the Park.

The bus has been funded by part of a grant from The National lottery, as well as donations to the Royal parks.
